I really miss dating....should I totally avoid it is dating okay in early recovery....I have serious trust issues so I do not think anything will come of it....but I am lonly and like to hang out with other and laugh...nothing like chilin with a crush...
I have been single for awhile but thinking about dating again....this one guy who has liked me for a long time and I never gave him a chance....guess what, he does NOT drink...I meet him at a bar but he was drinking a coke, playing pool...he is successful and cute....I know he would not presure me to move fast either...he has always been around as I let him and how I have let him...I know he likes me though...

What do you all think? Oh, he is a little older but no kids and never married...good guy...

May I suggest you read a book called "God on a Harley" by Joan Brady
It's a very short 1-2 hour read look in fiction section at Barnes and Nobel if not in stock can be ordered.

I am very into psychology, always have been, my step mom taught me well, she was going for her doctorate, now my sister in law is a Dr. in Psy.....I love it and the way we all think and conger up new idea to make us better people....I sometimes question it all....I mean life, everything...I am me, into this world alone and die alone...I know not really, lots of people love me and I am blessed, but beyond that....I only get on so many years and they go so fast....
isn't love suppose to be a big part of the whole....
i have been single soo long.....I just want to see what I am missing again...
so , many of my friends are married with babies, and love that life....I have nothing but my love for their babies....and I do love them, I love kids...I am so good with kids...why didnt I accidentally get prego...okay, i know God was watching out for me but I sometimes just want their life....
Lots of you all have it....the family that is not perfect but you had that chance...
I am 30 now and honeatly I hear my clock ticking
I tell my sister, kinda joking, I just want a rich man to knock me up and be gone.....lol....the money....yeah....

I want kids....what if I get to old and still on the same path???
life sucks...those who dont want kids have them and like my brothers those who dont until 5 years later and may not be time for a second...she is 37 now....

Sweetie, I had my son at 35... so you still have time. You're right if you ever want to go at it alone you can. Being a single mom is hard (I know) but lots of women do it...again you need to be at a good place with yourself because they do demand a lot!

I guess I'm hearing you say you have a void that you want filled. I also believe a lot of women when they turn 30, and they are still single start to worry if "it" will every happen. I hope it does for you because that is your wish. However if it doesn't there are other options for children...or maybe God has another plan for you...who knows...Maybe you end up in China running an orphange with 50 children of your own..."seek ye first the kingdom of God and all else will be given."

I know this is painful stuff..I live in that world of unhappy romantic relationships and wishing for a normal loving family of my own...Take care dear!
