Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Sadly no posts as, of course, I have been drinking. I feel pissed, sad, drunk, a total let down, useless, etc etc..
Been in my pj's all day. what the hell is the point?
being drunk for 2 hours makes me feel awesome and the 20 hour come down sucks.
So sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Maybe a different approach would work for you. I too gave up almost seven years ago but what I gave up was trying to fight against alcoholism. I accepted that I could not do it on my own and looked for help. Might work for you too.
It took alot to get me to go and get help. My wife kicked me out of the house and I wouldn't go so she called the town cops. The cop saw how drunk I was and gave me a choice, either jail or detox and it was an easy choice to make even though I was wasted and had a difficult time comprehending.
I hope you change your approach before things get worse for you. Unfortunately, all we can do is hope and pray because in the end, it is your decision alone. We can give you lots of encouragement along the way but you must do the work.
I have seen alcohol kill many friends and it also killed my mother at the age of 52. Your life certainly has meaning to your family and friends and to family and friends you have yet to meet down the road so please put forth a better effort to get the help you need to live a happy sober, lifestyle!
Good luck and God Bless!
Make a decision to get busy. Go find a group of Alchies near you. They wanna help. It is possible. C'mon
