Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."
My anxiety has gotten a lot better over this past year, and that's exactly how I used to feel when I left my house, and how I still feel when i'm in big or crowded places with lots of people and shit.
It sucks to not even be able to go outside. I never went on walks because I didn't want anyone to see me.
So I would go on walks at night, when there isnt many people outside. Maybe you could gradually work your way up to walking outside more and more.
Now i'm almost perfectly fine with walking places, I do still feel anxiety at times, but it's not as severe to where I litterally cannot go anywhere at all.
