Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."

When speaking, I try to remain calm, because if I studder or slur it shows my nervousness. I take a deep breath in and try not to hurl. Sometimes talking is the most difficult thing when you live alone, and are solitary. When I have to talk, I express what I need, and move on. I try to talk once a day, but sometimes I don't make it. Ever feel this way?

All the time hon, all the time. And if someone is rude or unresponsive it can send me back in my shell. I realise i have not done anything wrong but they have their own problems but it still can be hard.

Look at the positive you wouldn't want them as friends anyway. May I add you as a friend?

I think everyone have trouble talk to other. Just try to take your time and think about good thing. If you get too nervous just say you need to get some air or you need to use the bathroom. At that you can try to relax and try again. If people make fun of you when you talk then you are waste your time on that person. That person is not a true friend. A real friend would listen to you and not laught at you.

I have this same problem also sometimes. Just earlier today, I saw a woman that I've found attractive and wanted to speak to. I barely managed to get out a sentence or two probably sounding very awkward or nervous. I want to ask her for her phone number, but I just keep beating around the bush, she probably thinks I'm just some weird guy. My heart starts beating quickly and I start to get cotton mouthed and my leg starts to shake, I start feeling really anxious and self conscious about whether others can tell or not.

On Saturday, while I was at yard sales with my best friend, my lawn guy texted me that he did my lawn. This costs me $70 every two weeks or so. I don't have great grass so sometimes, he skips. Anyway, I paid him on CashApp when I got home. On Sunday morning, he texted me again, to say goodbye because he was moving. My little thinking cap went on and I thought about how I am healthier...
