Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."
Agoraphobia Symptoms/Post Concussion Syndrome
I suffered a concussion in late August when I was moving to a new place and my social anxiety/agoraphobia seems worse. I think this is probably because I spent a lot of times in doors during recovery. Around that time was also dealing with an emotional abusive situation with a roommate which also didn't help.
I am experiencing a lot of deep loneliness and depression off and on.
I did start a new job in residencal cleaning that I'm happy about and I like my new boss. Trying to rest as much as I can and spend time in the garden growing things. Hopefully things will get better.

Now that I am not talking to my whatever best friend, I realized that her life is full of drama. I had grown tired of hearing her stories about her boyfriend many months ago. Does anyone here have a comfort item you carry with you when you go out? For example this is my doll, Annie, and I've recently been bringing her with me when I run errrands flor have an appointment. Holding her comforts me. I've bought her clothes, crocheted for her, I recently bought a personalized blanket with her name on it. Just wondering if anyone else has a comfort item.

The bad roommate situation doesn't help either.
Focus on the good you have in life, the new job you like and the good boss. Remind yourself you are doing well and that your brain needs time to heal. If you feel like your brain has some serious issues that is not getting better, go get more help for after concussion medical therapy.
I hope that your recovery is going well. I am sorry to hear that you have had more struggles with loneliness and depression as a result of your being indoors recently and the situation with your roommate. During this time, take time inside and do things that you find peaceful and that you love. Do all the things that make you happy and try to practice mindfulness and reminding yourself that you will make it through this time! I am proud of how far you have come, continue pushing forward, you can do this!
