Spastic or spasticity is mostly Athetoid, involuntary movement in a limb, side or all of the body and you can't stop or control it... Most of us take meds to slow or weaken the movements to some degree... It's kind of like when you shiver when you get very cold, in a very simplistic way as you can't stop shivering until you get warm again... It can be very slight or more involved and the limb or limbs maybe restrained in some way, to stop it from hurting the person... I have moderate Athetoid CP, that gives me involuntary movements but mine are more involved on my left side than my right.. The best way to describe it is a like a sock in a washer, not knowing where it will move to next...

I think your ache is possibly over use of that muscle, but that's only my guess... If it makes the muscle spasm it might be like a cramp and it will be painful... Best go talk with your Dr as it should be checked out, just to be sure.. Hope this helps..!

my rt arm and leg r spastic. they r totally tight and sometimes they move on their own, i used 2 have some control over them but these days i have none at all when they want 2 move i am powerless to stop them

Spastic to me is when my back & leg are so tight it feels like I need a crow bar to unbend. I'll take 2 muscle relaxers a pain pill & sit in the hot tub for an hour. You can barely move. Sometimes can't

Spastic is painful and is very annoying at times. It basically has a mind of it's own. For me, my tendens and muscles ache and my back hurts like hell.

My legs always get very jumpy when I hear loud noises or get scared. It really hurts my lower back sometimes it hurts so much that it makes me cry.

I have a friend that has spastic dysplasia, He can barely move leg's because, there really tight and rigid......But, that's the only thing wrong with him is the limited movement of his leg's.
I'm feeling a little pain up near my knee..........don't know if it has anything to do with spaz or not
