Has anyone experienced a rash following surgery? Surgery was on February 12th and on the 18th I noticed a raised blistery red circular rash on my chest. I thought maybe it was ringworm and saw my nuerosurgeon's assistant but she said not ringworm , she didn't know what it is and said she didn't think it was from meds. She said I needed to see a dermatologist. Saw Dermo doc on Thursday and he didn't know what it is either and doesn't think it is from meds I am on. He prescribed a Nystatin/Triamcinolone cream to apply for a month and if it doesn't clear up by then he will do biopsy. Ugh!
On a positive note - the week before surgery I had my ring finger sized at a 10. Today I had it sized at same store and I am now a 9 - truly astonishing.

I had no rash but I do know from previous prescription (pain killers) I have had some reactions, My wife who had neck surgery ran into the same thing, she could not take hydrocodone. I know about surgery, it was amazing how when you look bad how much our body was swollen all those years.
