I'm a newer member & have posted a few responses, hopefully sharing some useful information stemming from my journey with Acromegaly.
Besides my own disorder, I am the mother of a 19 year old daughter who has battled refractory epilepsy for the past 10+ years. She had brain surgery this past October. Now we are trying Medical Marijuana to help control her seizures.
As a result, I have done a LOT of research on the subject. We live in NJ, where the use of Medical Marijuana was fairly recently legallized.
All of that said, has anyone ever seen the following article? I've read it a few times, and am still working on it (was NOT a science major in college & have NO interest in medicine.....despite spending the past 10+ years dealing with it)!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
What strain or ratio of CBD:THC are you using?
I just found a new endo who is open minded and seems thorough. Tomorrow I am getting a thyroid scan. He is at least willing to look at the 'big picture,' and grasps my concerns with Somatuline. When I threw out CBD therapy, he did not understand how it could help, but was willing to work with me on how I wanted to treat my disorder. When I told him that CBD can shrink brain tumor cells, he pointed out that cancerous tumors are compsitionally different from adenomas. I hadn't re-read this article recently, as we have been sinking all energy & resources (& CBD) into our daughter. But, a closer look is in the immediate future. Once the results of the thyroid scan are done & we compile the data, it will likely be a discussion.
I will tell you that it is remarkable for epilepsy.....though it MUST be the right high CBD, virtually NO THC strain. Not sure what the right combo would be for acro.........but plan to keep looking........
