I just recently had this odd acne problem, so I thought I'd ask.
I don't normally get acne, even if I do they're like tiny little blackheads disguised as bump, one squeeze and they're gone with no marks. However, I get giant zits on my scalp, under my hair on the back of my head. It's hard enough to pop them on your own, but this one I got now is nearing a week old and it still hasn't gone to a head!
Does anyone know what causes scalp acne? I try to steer clear of greasy shampoos, and so far have only found two from the Garnier Fructis line that do the job, but now I must have got some grease clogged in a pore or something so I need to know what else can cause scalp acne.

If it is acne though, it is probably a cystic zit which can last quite a long time. I've had some that have even lasted months. Luckily, your's is only on your scalp and there is only one, so thats good news. Just be patient. It will go down eventually.
I'm not so sure what products you could use on your scalp. Putting ice on it may take down the size. Sorry I can't be much help. Good luck!!
