I've been celibate for almost three years, and I have gotten to the point that i'm not sexually fueled by men. Find them attractive always but not flirty or turned on and i been feeling like this maybe after the first few months into it. Someone please help me out with this stuff!

Normal? Here in the turbo charged sexuality of the 21st century, there is nothing whatsoever about "Normal" about committing celibacy.

But out here on the wild side, it's okay to view men as more than handsome faces attached to penile life support systems. Relax and flow with it and you just might discover that there are more flavors of love than "making love."

So it seems to me. . .

sorry didnt realize where i was, didnt know there was a group like this. and its about Abstinence, hmmm...... please explain the thinking around this,, why do you think it helps. Abstinence is not just withholding sex from men, but if your like me its witholding sex from women also. and what is left over after Abstinence is just sex, no love making , it just makes it sex. anyway ill let you people be, im sure you must have a good reason , curious thats all,

In my own case, I did not choose celibacy. It was forced on me in my 50s by injuries sustained from child sex trafficking. Total *no fair* but . . . Insert *radical acceptance* here. . .

It has felt like a tragic loss to my husband and I. Girl howdy we had a great sex life, but. . . well. . . How radical is it that we are still together, despite that tragedy? The rare and precious folks who *choose* celibacy have been my lifeline in the decade-plus since. The reasons they have given me for their choice are remarkably diverse. I will let them speak for themselves, if or when they choose.

You are normal. Society can't accept that there are people without sex drives that want to stay celibate. We are a threat to them.

    I did the dumbest thing today.  I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds.  I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym.  What a dummy!
