Im 21 years old, never had sex and probably never will in my lifetime cause i might be dieing soon from liver failure. I have always thought that i should have waited for a right girl to come along but i now have seen that while i wait for someone to come along most people have already experienced this great feeling with at least 4 people by my age. And i want to ask why even bother to wait anymore, I guess this is just that i feel like all the girls are out having fun with all these guys that just dont care about the sex they are getting and im just standing at a point where i have nothing to show for in my life in the sex department, i mean am i really that fucking ugly to not get some jeez. I have a job and im smart but damn do i really need to want to have sex with a girl to keep her before i even get to know her that well. I dont know anymore i think that in this time and age that being celibate is not that good of a idea anymore, sure you can get STDs and crap but people always say that life is short so why not take the chance. And for the girls getting pregnant by accident well most of their lives end up great later on so there really is not much bad to say to that just look at the show 16 and pregnant........ Honestly will someone tell me what the point to even staying celibate or abstinent cause i would like to know.
I can only tell you/ (everyone who reads this) that at 33 I sometimes highly question my virginity too; but I still am one because THAT feels right at this time for ME.
Honestly I feel that I would end up feeling terriable with myself if I just started acting like most of society does with sex. Sure it would feel good at those moments to my body, but deep in my heart it would not feel right for me, I would feel filthly/ dirty hours/ months... later.
It really is something you need to examine in YOUR own mind and heart.
Sorry to hear about your condition and hope that it isn't as bad as you think it is. As far as you being ugly, I seriously doubt that. Yes, there are a lot of very pretty people in the world but most of us want a warm,careing, lloving and honest person to share ourselves with. Don't beat yourself up so badly. If you want the experience, go for it.
It would be a lie to say that sex isn't good. However it is better when it is with someone that loves you and that cares about you. This is why I have decided to be celibate, I was tired of feeling used for my body.
Even though you have never had sex before, make sure that you do it with someone that you have an amazing connection with... that way you can experience sex at its most amazing level.

I feel the same as you. I eventually reached a point, towards my 30's, where I couldn't wait anymore. But I felt very strongly about the fight. And I wish things could have been different.
