Have been reading several posts on the threads here and I am bit bewildered by some of the responses. We say we are here to help the newcommer yet when a new commer asks a serious question it degenerates into a slanging match.
My understanding is the whole reason the site came into existence is because of the slanging matches that went on, on the main board. Now I am not the sharpest tool in the shed but I have to wonder if there was a problem with the slanging on the mainboard and a site is created to get away from the people who are doing the slanging, then the slanging happens on the new site but stops on the main site. I have to ask the question where is the slanging coming from??
Are we our own enemies? Is this site being torn apart from the inside because I am being egotistical?? I love reading all the different experiences on this site, I love to read the hope that your stories bring to me. Unfortunately but, I may read one hundred posts of hope but one post of bickering and slanging is enough to stop me coming here.
My sponsor once asked me "what do you bring to AA". I thought to myself heaps then I got honest and answered nothing. Today my sponsor says to me what do you bring to AA and in my heart I honestly answer "hope".
Ask yourself what do you bring to this site??

I try to carry the message to others. It was said a couple of weeks ago on the main board that people on here try to out smart others cos everyone has to be right. I think we should all try and remember that its JUST our opinion and everyone has differant views...

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
