Welcome. If you come to visit for the first time and have some questions feel free to ask. PM someone if you like but don't stay a stranger. We were all in the pit. We know a way out. No condemnation and no hammers. Just ask and prepare to make a load of friends.
That said, last week I did 4 nights running as I knew I needed to be there.
It is suggested that I spend the time on my recovery that I used to on drink.....that would be about right with time spent here :)
Ok.....tonights meeting was a newcomers meeting.....the sad thing was how much sobriety was in that room and people weren't prepared to open their mouths and pass the message. Yes, they showed up and suited up, they had their bum on the seat, they were there physically but.......not to share??? The poor secretary was even having a laugh about it.
Anyway, moan over. It is what it is! Acceptance.

(Before you ask, did I share? You bet ya. I would have shared 10 fold if it was the done thing. Silence when there are over 100 years sobriety (at a guess). Wow! Just gets to me..........rant over)
