  In 2009 the daughter estrangement started. In 2013 I joined this group. For 4 years I struggled with my wife to understand how and why this could happen. This group helped me understand that I am not alone, that there is no explaination, that estrangement happens.I read my early posts and see anger, betrayal, and hurt.   I have been a member of this group for some time. An observation from posting and reading was that many parents had multiple estranged adult children. This got me thinking and acting.My story - I am estranged from my oldest child, my step daughter. This has crushed our soul, my wife and I navagate through this grief.
