  My life has been pretty rough lately and I am missing the oblivion of gambling. It's been almost 3 weeks gf and although that's not a long time it feels like it to me. I have been going to GA meetings 3 days a week but the loneliness and sense if loss is still there. I don't want to go down that path of destruction but man it can be tough dealing with disappointments and stress at times.   Just wanted to check in and say how much these posts have helped me in this first week gf. I have gone to a few GA meetings and am still trying to figure this out. This thing has been part of my life for 30 years letting go of it feels like I ended a relationship. (One that sucked but one nonetheless) Now I am taking all the advice I can get to keep going.   Hello, I just needed to post today because I felt so alone. My addiction is overwhelming. I have gambled for 30 years and it's destroyed so many good and positive things in my life. Now I'm scared that I can't stop. This addiction has been a part of me for. So long that even though I know I have to stop part of me still wants to gamble.
