  For the past ten months, I have found myself in a state of constant limbo. My son was removed from my care in March 2019 and until then, I had been the primary custodial parent since he was 2 years old (he is 14 now). I have had zero contact with my son for the past 10 months with the exception of 2 letters I was allowed to send him after prior court approval; he has not been allowed to respond. I will not go into the details here, for those interested in the details you are welcome to check...
