Yes...THIS is YOUR life...(sick humor)

I don't know why but I feel like I can hear the cheesy game show host in my head this morning saying ..yes anxiety freak THIS is Your Life!....and as the winner of this life you will receive...LOL ...Ok stupid but true.  See, just when you are trying to feel all sorry for yourself your pets are there to pull you back.  It's 5:30 am on Thurs..I'm sitting here at the laptop with my coffee and Momma cat is sitting there, staring at me from the side of my chair.  I can see her out of the corner of my eye.  Pretty soon I feel the one paw action on the edge of my robe saying "Hello?  I'd really like to be in your lap."  After writing these few sentences I finally lean back and hold my arms up and say "well, come on".  Up she goes.  She is purring sooo loud but has her face pressed against my wrist and the edge of the laptop like she doesn't want to look at me or something.  silly kitty!  Anyway, back to my original train of thought...I feel like for every positive thing that happens or is there is that, "wait, but you also get.."  My BF has been very nice lately. He makes me lunch every day to take to work.  He's been trying to be understanding about what I'm feeling on the one side and yet I'm still lonely.  the anxiety still frustrates him because he's never felt that way he can't understand.   I know he's only frustrated at the situation and not angry with me but it still makes me want to keep it to myself and not let on that I'm being a wack job.  Things were feeling like they are at a manageable level at work and then my boss has to go and catch some stomach virus thing going around.  I know for sure now that the fear of getting sick is my number one trigger.  If anyone had seen me spraying Lysol around the entire office including the server room I'm sure they would have had a good laugh but worse than that I was so angry with her when she came back to work yesterday.
I mean...sure she feels a little better but what if she's still contagious? right?  so I don't say anything but try to keep my distance.  Then she keeps coming over and touching things on my desk.  I get the lysol and wipe off the phone box she wants me to activate.  I open the box and get ready to call my phone rep.  She comes back over and starts touching all the bags in the box..holster, charger, etc.  I'm like "don't you GET IT?" (in my head only of course)  "DO YOU HAVE TO TOUCH EVERYTHING?????  OH MY GOD I CANNOT GET SICK!"  I don't think she ever really noticed that I was wiping everything off behind her and washing my hands about every 15 minutes yesterday...NOT a productive day for sure.  Maybe today will be better?
