Work Ignorance and Medical
Today someone in my command "was committed." I overheard some of the discussions, and they were misusing the terms and ignorance of what happens when you are in the ER and then a TDO for suicidal intentions. I wanted to jump in but didn't. My bipolar must be hidden. It must be controlled. Every day in the parking lot, I put on my work face.
I have received three referrals today from my military PCM today. I am still looking for a new PDoc and TDoc. Funny they are all closed on Fridays. I have no idea how to choose one. I have never chosen my doctors. I have been in the military medical system my entire life. You have a problem; you goto where they tell you. Kind of easy with all the military medical records connected. They have electronically all my documents going back 13 years. But back to the choice. It is such a crapshoot. I am trying to go to the PDoc that has a dog in his picture.
Still working this weekend. Sort of like when I was over in the middle east, I worked every single day for ten months (Sat, Sun, Holidays, X-Mas, Thanksgiving, birthday,...). Went home for R&R and then came back and hated the schedule, but had to continue due to the mission.
Also anyone know how to add a photo?

I think you can only ad photos in your journals.

I can import the picture but there is no way to post (no button)

After you drag and drop the picture you have to adjust the framing of it and the click the crop icon. It takes getting used to. I hope you can figure it out.

Most Pdocs are closed or only work till noon on Friday's, all the one's I've ever used are.
I pick Dr.'s by looking at their Practice Style, what they specialize in, CBT, Dynamic, Patient-led, etc. I look at what they have the most experience in, how long they've been in practice, where they went to Med School, where they did their Internship, how long they've been in Private Practice, etc.
I have to have a Pdoc that challenges me, otherwise I tend to run over them....young newly minted Pdocs are good target practice. lol
