Why won't he go away....
He's been married almost a year and except for a Happy Birthday text I haven't heard from him. Don't want to. So, of course I get a text yesterday asking do I still have something he wants in the basement. A. Year. And he asks if I have something because he wants it. In what universe would anyone think that was Appropriate. It wasn't even anything expensive- he could probably buy it if he took the time to do some research. It was such a shock to get the text that I responded I had to look. A few hours later when I finally got over the initial - what ? - I could have kicked myself for not just saying No! So I waited a day and will text "No" tomorrow. I didn't even look. I don't want him coming over and I am not wasting my time even looking for it. I owe him NOTHING. And now I am mad - which is good since mad is better than sad. But now I am thinking about him again- which I hate! Even tv isn't working to get him out of my brain. Things are always worse at night. For anyone in Florida- take care and be safe!

After the divorce was finalized, my EX truly wanted it to appear to outsiders that he and I were still good friends. I agreed to some of it because we were still co-parenting and I wanted the kids to know we still discussed an made important decisions with regard to them. I didn't want them playing us against each other. Anyway, I hated his phone calls just to chat. I didn't want him knowing anything about my life. He loved hearing himself talk so most conversations were one sided. It all stopped when I had to take him back to court because he wouldn't sign something that was agreed upon and written in the decree. Having hardly no contact has been a real blessing for me. (((HUGS))) Forgive yourself for answering and leave it at that. Tomorrow's another day
Hugs my friend. Really, if he lived without it this long, why does he need it now. Do not even reply. Just forget it. Delete it.
