Why do others deserve love denied me?

I took my boys to a Supercross last night. It was the first time we've been on this traditional family event without my wife. I'm so glad they had a great time with me but I know they wished she had been with us. I did. One thing that hit me hard was the number of women with men at the stadium.  Everywhere I looked were couples. Dating kids, dad's and mom's with children, and seniors... All couples sharing this fun even together.

What is different between those men and me that they deserve the love and commitment from the women with them and I don't from the wife of 15 years whom I love dearly but who is divorcing me?

Oh, IDMhHE, I\'m afraid you will be haunted by the site of couples for a long time. They stand out in vivid relief when you are going thru this.

There is little that I can say to make it easier, but try not to internalize it. You do deserve commitment. There is nothing about you the makes you unworthy. You are worthy.

For me, I internalized it. What did I do? How could I have done better? What is it about ME? The reality is --- it was about him. What is it about HIM that kept him from being committed. And there are a lot of answers to that... very few of which I could solved.

It isn\'t you.
