who needs water?!?!
Water company is seriously stressing me out. Showed up for meeting with VP customer service yesterday and he blew me off. That's twice this week. Got a written notice with some records and they are still insisting I pay the full amount. Based on their records , I have calculated an amount owing of $160, the bill is for $1000. Ridiculous.
My 'friend' the CEO of the water company is blowing me off also (so much for that). I can appeal to a state governing body but that will take months. So I really have no choice but to make alternative arrangements, ie private water tank and monthly deliveries by a water truck. You know I am in no physical state to deal with those logistics right now and financially the timing could not be worse AAARGH!

It would be nice to have a month free of stress..just one month where work isn't driving me crazy, my son is not ill, I am hobbling along with no drama and no uncontrollable external factors come along to blindside me. Just one month would be so nice...

Is there anything a lawyer could/would do to help with the water problem? Would an editorial in the local paper do more harm than good?
Pain in side, bladder issues ..... 1st priority, Max, get that checked out and take care of yourself. If you have an infection, it may be moving down into your leg. You don\'t need to be in a hospital bed with a huge bill mounting up for that on top of everything else.
I\'ll pray for you and your son. He\'s at that age where teacher\'s say kids leave their brains at the door -- this former teacher (me) says they leave their brains at the door of the bedroom before they go to school! Their is no one-size fits all solution. You may have to try several methods with him, but you need your health in the best possible state so you can focus. Take care of Max first.

that water bill makes no sense...........you would have had to have a serious flooding of your home...........how can they insist when there is no evidence of property damage or well anything to substantiate this charge?
my typical water bill is like.........$30 something, if I got a $1,000 bill for water I would picket them ......ok i couldn\'t picket them, but i would want to, here we have local news reporters you can call and they take on issues like this, fight them in care of you and others who may be subjected to the same problem............i wish you had something like that to call upon.
