Wednesday night
So doc gave me some ointment for my eye and I'm using that before bed, when I get up, and in the afternoon when I get home. I trust it is getting better. Also using hot compresses at doc's direction.
Took meds on time last night, bath early so I could wash my hair. Bed late, lights out and book down by 12:40. Slow moving this morning, but couldn't stay asleep. I just moved through my morning slowly so I wouldn't stress myself. At work now.

I had wanted to go to a city council meeting this afternoon. They are discussing what to do about finishing the paving of roads in my subdivision. Long story short, the city wants to charge us b/c the builders didn't finish the paving and the city let them off the hook for it. We can't afford to pay for it, so. Unfortunately, as tired as I am I do not think it's a good idea for me to attend this meeting. Normally I would suck it up, but I have two receptions and a memorial service this weekend that I must attend for my late grandmother and family, so I need to preserve my energy.

Yeah, skip the council meeting. You will need your strength for the receptions and memorial service. I have a memorial service for my cousin this weekend as well. So, we can be in prayer for each other. Glad your eye is under a doctor\'s care. I hope it clears up soon. Love you.
Prayers for you, definitely hon. My grandmother passed in January. Her family is so huge, though, that we wanted to wait until the Northern contingent could make it down to the service. I\'m more concerned about the evening receptions than the service itself. Just praying that the kids and DH can help things run smoothly for me. Hugs and prayers!

Yes, just do what matters most and blow off the meeting. It just sucks when city leaders fail us, but sadly, =not a rare story.
