wasting time

DSS wasting time.  Case: mom and dad live seperately but working on marriege,  2 kids.  report comes in LE is with mom, she knocked over a neighbor's mailbox, and plowed through some yard, and had kids with her and is intoxicated.  she was arrested.  she is not even charged with dui or dwi, but with leaving scene of accident and property damage.  she and dad get in a verbal arguement with dad, and kids say they get afraid, but no blows. this case is moved to CM.  mom will not allow DSS into her home, or to speak to her kids,  and our office attorney is not acting in any way to help the situation, just says keep going out to see the family and blah blah blah, because attorney is a lazy ass.  we are wasting time, the family is moderate risk,  mom had another run in with LE but again was not charged with any sort of drinking and driving.
