wanting it to end

I feel like nothing is going my way, whatever i touch turns to shit. I have been on drugs for over 20 years now i am being forced to rehab. I only do coke a little but i smoke weed a lot. It helps me with my anxiety disorder but they said it does not help with my depression. I am tried of people telling me I am depressed its a sign of weakness. I just recently been told I have GAD and major depression they say it does not go away but its manageable. I am so tried of getting stuff that does not go away.I feel that now not only do I have a learning disability I also have a mental issues. Wow more money to spend on something else i can not afford. Yes i am in counseling but she does not know how i feel. I feel like i am a failure and what is the point of living. It would be less costly if I was not here!

GAD and depression are both things that can and will go away. With counseling, medication, and some cognitive work on your part, you can be well again. You are worth every penny! Would you say those comments above to a friend? Of course you wouldn\'t. Be kind to yourself. Love yourself. God loves you and has a plan for you. Continue with rehab and counseling. The sun will shine again. Look for it.

drugs can harm and cost money just as much as therapy and healing things can help. Hang in there. You can be well, and you are DEFINITELY not worthless or a failure of any sort. You need help and you need to allow the people willing to help you to do so. You are stronger than drugs, and stronger than illness. Illness isn\'t who you are, it is just something that happens. If you honestly want to feel better, drugs and booze won\'t help... counseling, trust, and the strength you already have will. Depression isn\'t weakness, but just letting drugs and booze \"take care of it\" will only make you feel worse. Please hang in there and use the people who want to be there for you. lean on them... and do what it takes to make your life what you want it to be. an illness is only an illness, it does not define us unless we let it. peace and love friend.
