update on thumb
Got the stitches out today. A few came out hard but it all worked out. There was still alot of swelling but overall, doc said looking good.
I can now shower that arm but I have to be careful around that pin. I don't have to go back for 4 weeks, then he will xray it and take the pin out.

I sure hope the pain go\'s away and you heal fast. Hugs Bob
this is good news! yay!
Glad you are on the mend! Hugs and prayers to you.
happy healing hugs, Bob.
Good news! Yeah on showering the the arm! Keep doing what they tell you to do and try not to use it too much! I know this will be a hard thing to do but think twice about what you ask that thumb to do....it wants to play the guitar!
Great to hear! Neosporin is best advice to heal. I have used it before and it is a miracle worker.
Do what you are told and rest - your thumb is so important
Amazing! and wonderful! :o)

Glad the stitches are out and that you can bathe. As Joyce said, \'just do what the doctor says to do\". Thinking of you.
This is wonderful news to hear about you!! How great for YOU! You deserve to hear nice and positive news like this!
Take care of yourself!
Peace, Franciann
Good news bob :) x
I am glad your thumb is healing.
:)
I totally agree about that wonderul ointment: Neosporin! My \"blistered\" fingers, breasts, and brand new cyst at the old \"healed?\" sixth surgery/abodominally ALL are helped by Neosporing and even really an ol d and simple remedy: Petroleum Jelly.....soothing and healing to you.
Take care. I hope you mend even sooner than the doctors estimate; but, if not, listen to them....believe me, I know how difficult a time you\'re experiencing, my Friend.
Peace,
Franciann
