Update on Getting Thrown out of Bldg
The company that I work for still have not completed its novation from one company to another. That means I am still without a contract that requires access to classified info. Where I work is entirely classified, so no access means no access to the bldg. My CEO has been working this, but the government moves at a glacial speed. She wants me to go in at 0800 and have someone sponsor me in the bldg each day. But it will be an Escort Required badge, so I have to stay within sight of the person that sponsors me in the bldg. So, go to the bathroom you get escorted, go to get a cup of coffee you get escorted, get and pick up something from the printer you get escorted... And I find it laughable that I have to be accompanied everywhere, but I will have full access to the unclassified and classified email system. This will should start next week for 2-3 days per week. But at least it won't begin until Oct. Latest is that the novation will occur in 6-8 weeks.
Old pix. Was look through my military pictures. This is from Oman and it was a dead washed up whale. Sad. All the bones were spread all over the beach. I'm going to post different pix from my travels.

interesting pic!
When I was flying out there in a V-22 there were huge herds of wild camels. None of the pix came out... too bad. The rest of the day was just waiting out for an amphibious landing to happen which is like paint drying. I just crisped in the sun for like six hours, and July in Oman is rather hot. Will post more pix. Was a good trip and I got to do a part of military logistics that I love... serving the customer.
Neat pic. Reminded me of when there was a dead whale that had washed up on the beach. There was the school, the street, a sand lot then the boardwalk and access to the beach. Warned them to look, walk around, but don't touch. Robert climbed up on it, and a foot went through the skin. Was surprised that Jimmy hadn't joined him. What a pair. Robert went straight to nurse's office for mother to fetch him. What a smell! Thanks for the memory.
