Unclassified Day

Today I am working at an innovation cell and most of the place is unclassified.  That means finally I can work with my cell phone next to me.  Out of the few times in my career this has happened.  Just something that I thought about.

Filled out my application to be a patient advocate for an FDA panel for some new drug or procedure.  I had to tell my story.  I ended up very emotional as I wrote about what I did before and how I felt before.  Will that ever happen again or is that a causalty of my conditions.  Also sent in a short write up of my story to a reoporter in Oregon.  Will see if he wants to use the material for a story.  I imagine it will be some filler story on the 12th page back.  But whatever.  

I am excited about the FDA panel becuase I can bring my patient advocacy to that process.  I have walked the miles in the shoes of a heart patient.
