Dear Andy,
Happy Birthday, Bunny. You would be 30 today.
When I read this quote, I thought of you. You were born with a heart of gold ("no, Mummy, SILVER!") and you kept that deep river of compassion going your whole life. You knew it was all for one and one for all. That there was no way it was ok to leave someone behind or unfed or unloved. Even dinosaurs who lived millions of years ago. Injustice was black and white to you, from the beginning of your journey to the end.
You were something special and dramatic and memorable, like a summer storm that makes you pull off the road.
You were flavors like jalapeno, jasmine, and melted butter.
You were colors like orange, curry, earth. Or black and white stripes.
You were as fragrant as rain and beebalm.
You were strong like horses and tender like daisies.
You were the sounds of drums, honeybees, and crazy singing.
You were generous like the morning sun and able to receive like the ocean.
I will delight in who you were and all you brought to our lives, and miss my baby/boy/man Andy, for as long as I see, smell, touch, taste, listen and breathe.
Holding you tight, sweetie. We're all hurting, we're all giving thanks.

Happy birthday, Andy, see the poetic words your Mummoo wrote. The quote was poignant, it touched my heart, it described my April. I hope you and she are pals in paradise. I will light a candle in honor of your life tonight.

Happy Birthday, Andy. You sound like such a wonderful man. I hope you and my Jason have met up. I think you would be a good influence on him. Hugs and love to your mom. Katrina
Sorely missed, Andy. Loved by all who knew you and some who did not. Your soul, your essence, is held tightly by your mother, your brother, and friends. Not to be forgotten. So sorry your life wasn\'t longer, other kids left too early, too. We wanted a lifetime with our children and thought we\'d have it.
Love to you and yours on your birthday, Abby

Happy Birthday dear Andy and to you, Sarah, my love.
As I read about Andy I continue to get to know him and his heart. I suspect as a child he watched to not step on ants or any little living creatures as well. Such a tender being he is and a wild child as well. All of it rolled into Andy!
Thirty! Wow...
That is Andy... Just WOW and so much more.
Heart to Heart and Hand in Hand we go...
Much love dear Sarah.
XO Joanie
