even dogs are resistant to new ideas. humans, too.

i have yet to meet a critter that isn't more afraid of being hungry than approaching a new idea. i'll bet ya dollars to wishes that he'll be on friendlier terms with the bag at the end of the first week of leaving his grub dish in there. water is too messy. i'd just put the grub dish in there.

though i admit that i would probably use the less patient approach of dragging him out, kicking and screaming on a daily basis, leaving his harness on for the full period of resistance. i've had to do that with several of my dogs and eventually their curiosity overcomes their fear, every time. on the forced runs, i find a place to sit with them for long enough for them to get curious.
