This is just wrong

Got up yesterday and took a shower and had no hot water. My landlord was great and got someone over that day to find out the water heater is broken and I need a new one. Normally that wouldn't be a terrible thing - except for no hot water for the weekend- but I had to clear a path in the basement to the water heater so they can get this one out and the new one in on Monday. And guess who's stuff is all around the water heater - you got it, THE EX. Half the basement floor is wet so any cardboard box is wet on the bottom. I have a dark carpet down there so I didn't notice it was wet in the back. I had to move all HIS stuff out of the way! I am so angry because he was suppose to get his crap out before he and the new mrs went on their honeymoon and he cancelled. So I spent 3 hours moving wet boxes around and making 10 trips to the dumpster. If I want to look at the half full glass - I did get some of my stuff cleaned out that I needed to. But I don't want to look at it that way. My therapist and I talked this week and I was planning to have a pamper me day. Instead I moved his wet, dirty, heavy cardboard boxes around the basement with no hot water to take a shower. I just wanted one weekend where I didn't think about him - instead all I thought about was him, every box I moved had memories. Sigh...
