\"I say\" let them just keep walking and I\'ll surround myself with those who don\'t \"say\" but stay long enough to hear my heart.

Thank goodness those that \"say\" don\'t know this path and I can only hope that they never will or there won\'t be much they\'re able to \"say\" any longer...

No words left to \"say\" just a lot of loving care always from one who walks this path with you.

I know...no one can understand any of this unless they have been through it. To be fair, it is very difficult to talk to a grieving mother...I will admit that, most of the time the things that come out of people\'s mouths make me wonder how they find their way home everyday. People can be so stupid. I think they just feel like they have to say SOMETHING, and it\'s usually something idiotic. But as I said, it isn\'t easy dealing with us. Why can\'t they just let us tell them how we are feeling without trying to explain it or offer unsolicited advice or trying to make sense of it!!! There is no sense to be made of it!!! I think it is their fear...I think in appearing to try to reassure us they are trying to figure out how and why it happened to distance themselves from any sort of situation in which it could happen to them. Do you know what I mean??? It\'s like they are trying to find the reasons why it happened to us so they can prevent it happening to them and they just end up hurting us and pissing us off. I wrote a long message on facebook last week practically begging folks to STOP telling me it wasn\'t my fault. That is between me and my daughter and my God. I end up pretending to agree just to shut them up and it feels like I am swallowing poison. The truth is, it is partially my fault. How much, I don\'t even know...but what does it really matter??? My daughter, my baby, is gone.

Well I \"say\" : So Long, I don\'t need those \"sayers\" in my life
I \"say\": Bye Bye, have a nice life - may you never know the pain I feel
I \"say\": My give a darn button is still not repaired...so
I \"say\" Here\'s a quarter - please call someone else who might understand YOUR problem
I \"say\" I gotta go to my sisters of the heart who truly understand - close the door on the way out....
Okay, I\'m done - I have had all those things said to me as we all have - so thankful for you....for reminding me just how special you are all!!! Sending ((hugs)) to you tonite. Vicki

Our culture is not taught how to comfort those grieving. Sadly, it is us, the grieving, who must teach those around us how WE need to be treated, cared for, talked to, etc. And it\'s our responsibility to walk away from anyone who is unable to give us what we need in order to help us on our journey toward healing. Fair? NO. But it is what it is.....

Tight, understanding hugs my friend~~
