The Little Drummer Boy

I have been thinking about 2 things this morning.

-Being ok with a mixture of depression and happiness, finding my intention and going forth..

-and then also I was listening to the radio and the "Little Drummer Boy" song came on.

It really struck a cord in that it seems like a metaphor for all of us going about our lives... Going forth with our intention and playing 'our drum' so to speak.

I came home from grocery shopping and Christmas shopping and just set about making lunch

and taking care of things...and taking care of myself was the next turn.

I guess what I just wanted to say was, is you're all not alone out there 'playing your drum', taking care of your life, sad or happy or mixed, it's what we all gotta do. This is me talking to myself as well :)

Perhaps in keeping our focus, we can live with intention, find it again, and not be so at the mercy of things within and around us.

Giving a treat to yourself is also a great respite after the work is all done!
