t-day aka d-day

well...apparently carlos' mother had not invited us over for thanksgiving and it was carlos just assuming we were going. wish i would of known this. he called his mom tonight to tell her we could come over and she said that they were going to her husband's sister's house for dinner and we were invited. carlos absolutley refused to do that so they made the decision that we would go over to hsi mom's house for breakfast/brunch.
so now there is no thanksgiving. a big deal for nothing. i'm happy we don't have to have thanksgiving dinner etc but i'm kind of pissed that i went through all those emotions for something that wasn't even possibly going to occur....god i wish i was told that from the beginning.

that shit happens, assumptions made all the time. at least it is off your mind now, better late then never.

Try to be happy it turned out the way it did. We just got invited to Justin\'s in laws and they are morbidly obese and eating there is always nerve wrecking even now. So we can gladly trade places.

I ended up being happy- i was fine. then this evening Marian invited Carlos and I over to their house for Thanksgiving dinner. Now this made me happy and I actually wanted to go! Being around that family on thanksgiving would be amazing! I asked Carlos (and included all the food she makes....5 pounds ofmashed potatos lol) and he said \"no\". then \"we are going to my mother\'s for brunch and then coming home\".

end of conversation. this made me upset. i was at work and was able to contain my emotions- but still hurt me.
