Surgery Set

Okay guys..I am not looking forward to this...and feel scared but always do before surgery...
Surgery Date is set: Jan 19 at 7:30....have to be at the hospital at 5:30 a.m..yikes that's early...
I hate being put to sleep....always scares me...You would think after as many as I have had done it would not bother me...and really the past few surgeries have not bothered me...but just pray I will be calm about it...
There is one advantage of back surgery...you can not see the scar..YEA....he said it shouldn't take more than and hour...I figure unless he gets in there and since it is right above the back fusions and the vertabra's get weak...but will hope and pray it will not have to become a fusion...and he said I should only have to be there overnight...
I won't be able to lift my computer for a while after ...I can use my i-pad but for some reason it will not let me write a journal...so hopfully I will be able to sent out some messages and they can be shared.
Thanks you guys for caring and I know I can depend on you all for prayers...I don't plan on telling anyone since it is just an overnight thing...no since in worrying others...Just hope it fixes the problem cause it is getting really hard to walk and get up and down....
Love, Sandi.

Wishing you only the best and freedom from this constant pain. The grief pain is enough and to add to the mix how your body is feeling is just over the top. I will be holding you in my thoughts and prayers of that you can be certain and the medical staff as well. Gentle healing hugs, Joanie

Dear Sandi, I know how uncomfortable it is to anticipate something like this. It\'s one of those \"the only way OUT is THROUGH\" situations, darn it all. If there was another solution I\'m sure you would have found it! THINGS WILL BE BETTER afterwards! Keep telling yourself that. I will be sending lots of hope for a smooth recovery.
Love, Sarah
