Supportive manager

Had a response from the area manager today regarding my complaint. She requested a face to face meeting to come up with an action plan before i return to work and face my boss. She was very understanding and supportive. I actually felt like she cared and that she had sympathy for what I was going through. I have requested that she takes no further action until I have returned to work and assessed my managers behaviour towards me but at least I know that if she gets nasty or difficult with me I can contact her manager directly and she already has the heads up. 
On the downside the anxiety of meeting with her coupled with the 25 mile round trip and an hour sat in a very uncomfortable chair in a coffee shop has left me in quite a bit of pain this evening. My Hips, back and thighs are really hurting and I have a nagging head ache. UGH! oh well at least I have had a couple of days of relief, lets hope tomorrow is better again.
