Sunday night 20170709

I had a really good day today.  I started cleaning and getting some things done around the apartment. Up until today, I had only hung one thing on the wall.  I got up and it was too early to start making noise.  You hear everything in these apartments and I was not going to be the rude neighbor and start making noise early.  I took Remi for a walk.  It was already 80 at 7:30.  We walked about half an hour and then it was after 8 so I started cleaning and doing laundry.  I was determined to try and hang things myself and hung the mirror on the bathroom wall and then went to try and do the ceiling hook.  It said use 5/16 drill bit and I did not have one.  I tried to borrow from the guy that I was almost roommates with. He was being kinda grumpy and didn't seem to want to help out so I just went and spent the money and bought one after all. 

I realize now..it's all about the right tools.  After that I had no trouble putting it in.  I had put a roast in the crock pot in the morning.  Now the apartment is clean and I have meat for most of the week.  It feels really good that I did it all on my own and didn't get help from anyone.
