I am not suicidal, but I do wander why we try to stop others, why it's viewed as such a bad thing, those who are gone, they don't have to suffer any more. why are we not supportive of each others decisions to get out of this horrible place for good

There are a lot of people who attempted Suicide and did not succeed. Most of those people are thankful that they didn’t and now greatly appreciate every little thing in life, like a sunrise or a cup of coffee.
Check out “my Suicide story” on YouTube. It’s very eye-opening.
I know what you mean, though. I think it is a choice a person can make, it's like their life. No one can judge how another person if feeling or what there life is.
Not everyone has someone who cares about them. It really bothers me when people say you should kill yourself because of all the people you leave behind who will miss you and be terribly hurt. there are people who have no one and that no one would miss.
on the flip side, i agree with restful in that it's usually a bad idea. but yea, if i hear someone has killed themselves I feel bad about it but maybe they needed that to stop their pain.
