Stillbirth is still the worst pain
My Dad's funeral was on Thursday. It was a honourable send off, very fitting for the man Daddy was. His death is very sad, I would have liked him to live forever. The timing was cruel, 4 months after Sinza's still birth...the pain just keeps piling on. I have been reflecting on the difference between the two pains, they are different, Dad died a month short of his 69th birthday. He lived to grow up, travel the world, have kids and grand kids. He was in a lot of pain from the diabetic wounds before he died, and in a way death freed him from that pain. I miss him, I am sad that he will never walk me down the isle, should i get married in future or see any grand kids that i might have, on this side of heaven, I will not be going home for Sunday lunch visits and afternoon chats anymore. His death is painful, but compared to Sinza's loss, she trumps that pain 300x over. She never breathed, or nursed or smiled or opened her eyes, NOTHING. No one except me felt the true impact of her loss and no one except me is keeping her memory actively alive in their heart. In a way i feel a little comforted that she now has her grandpa in heaven with her. Stillbirth is still the worst form of death there is!

I\'m so sorry for the loss of your father. And I agree, stillbirth is the absolute worst loss we can endure.
