Still off work

Ok so I was unable to return to work today. Still can not stand for long enough periods of time without being in pain. Phoned my manager first thing and it was a really awful experience. I could hear the disbelief in her voice and then she accused me of not keeping her up to date saying I should phone her everyday with an update ! Wtf?! Oh well if she wants a daily blow by blow account I'll give her one! No skin off my nose, I have speaker on my phone so don't even have to lift my arms. She also demanded a doctors sick note which she isn't legally entitled to until tomorrow as I haven't been off long enough yet. I did however try to get one today but guess what....the gp refused and said call back tomorrow! Lol

I'm now in a confused mess regarding work. I was already looking for a new job before all this happened, today I have seen 2 suitable jobs, closer to home and better hours for me. Too scared to apply though coz what if I don't make it through my probationary period without being off sick. Can't predict what's going to happen week on week and my hospital appointment isn't until the end of March. There is also a chance that in going to get a disciplinary at work now for my sickness and I don't want that to go against me when trying to get a new job. Maybe I'll just wait until I'm sacked and claim job seekers. HATE MYSELF for ending up here, after 7 yrs impeccable employment record, not a single day off sick, why this now??!! Aaarrgggggghhhhh
