Stepped foot in a bar.. still sober!! :D
My girlfriend Jessyka came into down this past weekend...it was the best & happiest few days I've had in a long time.. Friday night we went for dinner with my friends for a birthday dinner and went to the arcade after... we had our first kiss in the arcade.. and afterwards we went to the bar and as much as I wanted to drink..I didn't! Jess had one drink, she went 22 days without even a sip, I'm still so proud of her! She's still not drinking at all aymore and she was so supportive in helping me stay sober even tho I really wanted to drink with everyone. We spent the night together of course, and saturday morning we went to get our tattoos done, it was a bust tho..the guy's machine broke right when we got there (he tested it right before we walked in & it worked), so we went to the mall & window shopped, looked in a decor shop..we have the same taste! Especially in art! :) Then we met up with a couple other friends of mine and went to an Andrew Allen concert-my favourite artist- (ft. Laurell & Stef Lang as well) and then got to meet a 3 artists!! Jess & I got CDs signed by Andrew Allen!! It was so much fun!! We went home to bed together again and sunday we went to the main big mall here, did a bit of shopping and made a build-a-bear dog together (pics posted!) it's a white dog with pink & red hearts all over it and Jess suggested naming it Briar.. she's amazing..honest & truly!! Jess & I bussed to the ferry terminal together & I hung out with her for a couple hours before we had to say goodbye :( Jess took our puppy Briar home with her & she's going to bring it back next visit so I can keep it and just trade every visit! :) She'll be back February 21st for 5 days!! We're going to a Masquerade ball fundraiser on the 22nd together :) I'm so excited to see her again

Oh the temptation, haha! Wonderful news that you were able to overcome the temptation to drink, and great efforts of both you and with Jess to support you; this had to have been not very easy on either of you. I am so happy for you both!
I am so excited for this news. You really deserve to get out and have fun in the usual way, too. And I\'m so glad for you to feel loved by Jess. And I feel the glow of your heart...ahhh, so warming, haha! That\'s love, huh?
I\'ll look for Andrew Allen, never heard of this artist though. But I look forward to what songs by him.
I did see the newly decorated little bear, cute! Briar is perfect as a name, which kind of links you two together by a special connection of love.
Please give my \"hello\" to Jess and her daugther and do have a good time at the fundraiser-masquerade ball, neat!

Thanks Aelle, it was nice to get out and get to spend so much time with Jess. I really needed this past weekend, it brightened up my world and I\'m overall just happier now! I think my family can tell, there\'s a bounce in my step, I\'m chipper & I\'m not \"nesting\" as my family calls it... Taking placement on the couch with everything piling around me & not being put away after (dishes, books, laptop, etc.. Dishes being the main issue..) I finally feel like I\'m getting back to myself somewhat.. Aside from the bipolar issues, I\'m doing much better :) see my counselor wednesday, continuing with my therapy! :)

I\'m trying really hard to keep moving forward with life and to not focus on the negatives. Having Jess come this past weekend really brightened up my spirits, she was so receptive, so loving, so there.. it was amazing. We have so much in common, and we were just so happy being together at last.. It was amazing. And to answer your question, my favourite colour is purple, and hers is lime green! :)
