Starting something new and feeling nervous
I've never been one to get nervous or anxious when it comes to dating, bit recently I've found myself feeling anxious anytime I think about starting a new relationship... Perhaps it's because my life feels so secure how it is and someone new would mix things up? At the same time I've been wanting to start something new, something fresh.. I've been talking to a guy I met online, he seems really sweet and we appear to have a lot in common, not to mention he actually lives relatively nearby. I think I'm partially afraid of getting hurt again, it seems to be inevitable and I still find myself thinking of my ex fiance even though he's been in a new relationship for 2 years now. Jordan seems really sweet, I'm afraid to mention him to any friends just yet because I don't want to jinx it.. Not till we're planning on meeting, in which case friends will know where and when, and possibly even be there.. Lol safety first. It's just weird for me being afraid of something new.. I've never been afraid of change.
On a different note, I thought I ought to mention I had a 'moment' with Jeremy.. My ex Kory's little brother (he's almost 19 now but seems older, I'm 22). He was teasing me jokingly as per usual, and it turned into one of those getting into each other's faces type of things, where we were standing inches apart and we could both feel it, it's not the first time it's happened either.. Truthfully if he didn't have a girlfriend I think there's a possibility we would have kissed.. Which would be awkward considering I dated and am still friends with his brother who also still has feelings for me... It's weird to think of Jeremy that way... He's planning on joining the army, he's in cadets as well right now.
I don't know what to think, I just go with the flow and let life take me where it sees fit :)
