Snow no more
It's still snowing like crazy outside and I've been house bound for the past week. The only time I got out was to go to counseling and then the snow started again on Wednesday. My office has been closed all week and now we are experiencing blizzard conditions with high winds and heavy snow. I thought it would be over by now, but not a chance. Otherwise, I'm doing ok. Not good, but ok. I'm now starting to look forward to meeting with the psychiatrist in hopes that she can get me some meds that will help with all the depression and grief I've been experiencing. I miss Gene so much. I was just thinking that if he was here we'd be playing cards and watching the snow fall. But he's not here and my heart aches for him. My grief counseling went well this week. Of course, I cried most of the time but I did get some good feedback from her regarding my grief. She really thinks the psychiatrist is a good idea, as does my family doctor. They feel I'm suffering too much and that different meds should help me deal better with my grief. They won't take it away, just help me deal better.
