Slow start to the night.. but it turned around with new friends made!

Last night was the halloween party I had been so excited about for so long, but quickly had my excitement ruined when my ex fiance rsvp'd as attending for him and his gf.. I was extremely stressed out that she would try to confront me at the party and would cause drama. She did talk to me at the party when they first got there, said hello and what not, but she didn't start any drama with me thankfully. It was extremely awkward.. he wouldn't acknowledge me, he looked directly at me and glanced away, no head not or wave, it was just unpleasant.. I know it was because of his gf so I let it go and laughed at his pathetic-ness. Adam & amanda were off smoking in the "smoking area" away from the door, and my friends and I were by the door getting a breath of fresh air, when they walked back he actually stopped and said hello to us, a quick "hey, how's it going" nothing really personal, and my friend lindsey.. love her to bits.. she met adam at my grad in 2011, and he hadn't really acknowledged her, so as he's about to walk away she goes "where's my hello?!!" and he was totally shocked, didn't recognize her and so she said "what, don't I get a hug?" TOTALLY PISSED OFF AMANDA! greatest moment of the night! made me so happy hahaha! and we talked about grad a tiny bit which really set amanda off and she stormed off inside while he was still outside with us XD I couldn't believe lindsey had the balls to do that, made my entire night so much better! I could tell a few times that amanda was upset about something, she go off outside all mopey and i'd laugh as he had to follow her. any time he talked to a girl, she attack his face and start making out with him.. it was really disgusting, she did it any time I or lindsey was there from the very start of the night, it just made every one uncomfortable and no one wanted to even try talking to him anymore. To an extent, I feel bad for him, but he's the one staying in the situation and he has to figure it out for himself. I made a bunch of awesome new friends and got to see some old friends again which was absolutely amazing!! It was a great night and I can't wait for next year! :)
