Sleeping Too Much Now
Last year, I had terrible insomnia. I would sleep 3-4 hours a night for most of 2018. This is shorter to the typical amount I got when I was in the Service. So I guess I have been sleep deprived for many years and most probably two decades. My PDoc and TDoc worked on this a great deal, I am using a CPAP, and the PDoc has given me a lot of medications related to sleep (Ambien 12.6 CR, Trazadone 150 mg, Visterol 100 mg). No real change occurred for nearly nine months, and then I started to achieve five hours. Now, roll forward six months, now I am sleeping 10 hours a day, nod off at work (boring meetings, at my desk) and while driving.
I have cut the Ambien off and will stop taking the Trazadone tonight. PDoc does not know but will see him this week. Any other advice? Is this ordinary course for Bipolar, Insomnia, Depression?

I would definitely talk about it with your Doc. I take a couple pills that make me sleepy and I sleep about 10 hours a night.
But for me it's good to sleep that much. I need it. I think if you're falling asleep at work and driving that is too much and dangerous. So you're right to trim it down. You seem to be at a different stage with your sleep pattern now - so it's probably time to adjust the meds.
