Its raining outside so i'm missing sunshine. Awoke at seven but don't have a plan as to what i should do.

Finding a network of friends...takes work.
I worked with a volunteer group with some family members as our community service project, made some unexpected friends whom I'm still in touch with these days. However, for the most part, I was friendly with most of the members of the group, and when the group stopped, I no longer was in touch with them.
It depends on what activities you are comfortable doing by yourself and meeting with others who like that same activity and also do it.
