satmorning continued
fed Remi and gave her her medication. I was sitting her eating my breakfast writing in my journal...Remi comes to me and she's kind of gagging and gives me that look that says she really does not feel well...I asked her if she's ok and does she want to go out? He snaps and says...You Need to stop panicking quite so quickly. I look up at him and I say..i'm not panicking...she's gonna throw up. I take her outside and she's frantically eating grass. After a few minutes he comes outside asks how she is...I tell him she hasn't thrown up yet. He says ..well she will if you let her eat the grass...now you've wasted that medication. I just glare at him...and walk away to get a heavier shirt since I still have gym clothes on and it's only 49 degrees outside. As I walk away I say...you always have to criticize everything I do...clearly I cannot do anything right. When I come back out he has gone back to the sweetness...like oops...I just snapped again. No shit sherlock. Am I crazy? or is it the usual alcoholic manipulation. well, today I am not buying.

Dogs eat grass to make themselves throw up. It is their methodf for curing stomache upset so if she is eating grass then she is feeling nausous and NEEDS to throw up.
It is the usual alcoholic manipulation. Do not buy in to it as it damages your self esteem and forces you to doubt your sanity!
I think both of you are learning and perhaps each of you, in your own way, are simply trying to do your best. Perhaps he listened to your response and chose to change his behavior based on what you said?
I hope Remi is all better very soon.
