running out of steam

I have had a few good weeks.  Good timing too as the last few weeks at work have been particularly stressful and hectic, have been putting in some long hours , not sure how I would have managed if this was not a remission phase.
However, I have felt my body progressively winding down.  Every day it gets a little harder, the enegy level is a little lower and the pain level climbs.  I'm back to lying in bed at night with my muscels throbbing, sometimes needing painkillers so I can get some sleep.
Weekends are for resting so thats what I did.  Except, my kitchen has been really dirty so I decided to cleanup on Saturday.  Actually I swept and my son did the rest, but by the time I was done .. I was done.  Forced myself to hang in there long enough to make breakfast and then it was back to bed.  All day Saturday and Sunday.
Today I'm tired, sluggish and in a bit of pain.  I'm not sick yet so I'm grateful for that.. wish the good run had lasted longer though...

Max, the truth is that you\'re amazing...........meditate, rest......listen to soft music, trying to think of one.........It\'s called Weightless, just can\'t think of the group.......it\'s an 8 minute song that might help you drift off.........lean in to the pain, take meds if needed.........hug that wonderful son of yours..........celebrate the good times and nurture yourself when the tide comes in and you need to rest more............it\'s never easy to say bye to the good days..........try to focus that energy towards recuping and rest.....k? and remember you\'re precious and AMAZING.......xoxo.
