push-crash

I am officially in another push-crash cycle.  Must admit I have been SOOO EXCITED!  Think it may be another bipolar upcycle coming on, I usually get 2 per year and number 2 this year has been overdue for months.  Better late than never.

For the past week I have had this incredible surge of creative energy, drawing up a storm.  It is something I have a talent for but don't do much..guess this energy just needs to express itself.  I have been waking up full of life and rearing to go - even if I don't get out of bed the mental energy wears me out pretty quickly, but the brain just keeps go-go-going.

Maybe I'm just excited that I get to be DOING SOMETHING again after almost a year of dreaming, planning and just being frustrated at my inability to go after my dreams.
One contractor has quit after just 2 weeks, I tried .. after 2 weeks of having the same conversation every day I replaced him on some aspects of the job.  He didn't like this and walked.  The good Lord worked it in my favor, I was able to directly hire his tradesman and will get a larger scope of work done at the same cost..hooray!

I am still learning just how little ability our bodies have to cope with any undue stress.  I am thrilled that some of the creative energy is being translated into physical reality.  I have been designing decorative wrought iron panels and gates.  One has already been built and installed, everyone loves it!

Another panel is in progress now.  So since I was hopped up on adrenaline I took a trip to the welder's shop.  Found him looking rather confused.  He confessed that he could understand the design on paper but had to idea how to transfer it to the floor where he had a template of my panel laid out.  So I got down on the floor and redrew the entire thing for him in full scale.  Had to rest a few times in between and sent him off to get me a sweet drink..sweated, panted and groaned and nearly fainted but got it done and we were both pleased.

Two days later I am still walking crooked. Feels like I ran a marathon.  Yesterday was one of those days of just throwing down painkillers.  Still in pain today.  Like really!  All I did was draw a frikkin picture!  That's life with CFS.

Crashing a bit today .. at work, would like to go home but I think I will hang in there...

How are my DS friends doing?
