how about tell us, to put irrigation systems into the entire planet's deserts, so that ALL PEOPLE can have food.

At the very least why can't these people be moved to the very edge of their country where there may be some kind of irrigation system?  how many countries have people who look like this?  in u.s.a. its mostly drug addicts who look like this unless a person has cancer or is being held captive by a lunatic.

how did this happen? is this ethiopia and somalia? are those two countries for sale? i mean, if they can\'t get it together, maybe bill gates wants to buy it? king gates, its better than the mess that is there.

there is also a site, i have the name under my 79lbs journal, the guy\'s name is john and he will build a school in your name, in impoverished places like this for $5000. AN ENTIRE SCHOOL can be built for $5000, that is amazing!

Why is it like this. Millions spent on weapons etc, and people are dying from lack of love and thought. We could have a beautiful world for all and no weapons. And find we can get along. One day it will be like this.

Suffering on earth is ultimately rewarded in Heaven. Alleujia? The righteous shall receive their just reward and the evil shall befall justice. We are our brother\'s keepers. Prayer is our first and upmost weapon. We must persevere and continue to elect mindful, vigilant, and just leaders who put more value on the dignity & sanctity of life for all of God\'s beings than on the \'almighty bottom !!ne\' !!

I know, the money goes to all the wrong places. It\'s sad that in this day and age there are people starving to death. Makes no sense to me. I include everyone who is without in my prayers every night. God Bless them!

I agree about the TV...time to unplug and become awake/aware
Hard to go through days being awake and aware...of all the suffering and injustice.

Extreme wealth can feed the world 4 times over!

The problem is a global one, Oxfam said: In the UK inequality is rapidly returning to levels not seen since the time of Charles Dickens. In China the top 10 percent now take home nearly 60 percent of the income. Chinese inequality levels are now similar to those in South Africa, which is now the most unequal country on Earth and significantly more [inequality] than at the end of apartheid.

In the US, the richest 1 percents share of income has doubled since 1980 from 10 to 20 percent, according to the report. For the top 0.01 percent, their share of national income quadrupled, reaching levels NEVER SEEN BEFORE.

We can no longer pretend that the creation of wealth for a few will inevitably benefit the many too often the reverse is true, Executive Director of Oxfam International Jeremy Hobbs said. Its time for a REVOLUTION.

Hobbs explained that concentration of wealth in the hands of the top few minimizes economic activity, making it harder for others to participate: From tax havens to weak employment laws, the richest benefit from a global economic system which is rigged in their favor. Its SICKENING to read about million dollar weddings when there are people with NO FOOD at all. wtf?

I pray every day, for every child who is hungry! It\'s the most productive way to help the situation. Men don\'t care about each other any more, or if children starve. They care about themselves. Our Creator cares about the hungry, the tired, the sick, the poor. I leave them in His hands and live a life of giving to those less fortunate than me. I\'m no goodie two shoes. I just care, that\'s all.

Lord help us all!
