Persistence

Home alone with a pack full of what ifs. What if this feeling in my chest is me getting sick..What if I was too close to that sick girl at work..I'm supposed to go down south to see my nephews..What if I'm sick?? Do I go?? I hate when sick people don't quarantine themselves..Can I do that to others?? What if that cup of coffee keeps me from resting?? The sickness of the what ifs always persists.

We used to have a saying: if all the ifs were horses beggars would ride.

It's kind of disappointing, you wonder and wonder, and then you're fine. I learned on the orchard: if I'm vertical, I'm fine.

You can actually take your temperature if you like. That'll tell you if you're sick.

If you visit nephew and you come down sick, you can do something about it then. :)
